NMRN Hartlepool is a superb re-creation of an 18th century seaport and a fantastic place to visit for families, groups and schools - in fact everybody. It brings to life the time of Nelson, Napoleon and the Battle of Trafalgar.
The Sights and sounds of the recreated Historic Quayside transport you back in time to Hartlepool in the 1800's the National Museum of the Royal Navy Hartlepool is a fantastic day out for all ages. Meet the press-ganged sailors from the Georgian Navy who lived onboard HMS Trincomalee.
Feel the explosive firepower of the guns with the exciting live demonstrations and re-enactments all year round. Relax and Unwind in our Georgian styled coffee shop nestled within the historic quayside with views of the ship where you can grab a cold drink or coffee or tea. We have a range of light bites including sandwiches, soups, jacket potatoes, pastries and cakes.
You can also grab something for the younger sailors with our “under the sea” lunch boxes. The Quayside coffee shop closes half an hour before the site closes.
