Red Arrows timings and flight path as aerobatics team head for Teesside Airshow

The Red Arrows will be in our region on Saturday as the Teesside Airshow returns.

The famous aerobatics display team will headline the event at Teesside Airport, with over 20,000 set to attend. A large variety of other air displays are taking place throughout the day, including the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, RAF Typhoon Display Team, RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team, L39 flying display, The Starlings display and a Catalina flying boat.

Alongside these airshows, there will also be a motorcycle stunt show, a strong person competition, and an inch-perfect motorcycle trial. The Red Arrows’ journey from Yorkshire to Teesside is expected to take them just 15 minutes, with their arrival scheduled for 12.15pm, reports Yorkshire Live.

Their display is then set to take place at 2.15pm. The famous arrows will start the return leg of their journey from Teesside at 5.30pm before again making their way over Yorkshire.

According to the Military Airshow website, subject to weather conditions, full flight path and timings are as follows:

  • Sturgate – 12.02pm
  • Adlingfleet – 12.05pm
  • Huggate – 12.08pm
  • Teesside – 12.15pm
